Rome Man Jailed For Second time in Days for Possessing Edible Gummies

For the second time in less than three weeks, Ewell Lydel Atwater, 20 of Rome, has been arrested on drug charges.

Reports said that a search warrant was conducted at his home on Chambers Street, and in which time he was found 44 packages of edible THC gummies and a glock hand gun.

Atwater is charged with possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession of a schedule I controlled substance with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Ewell Lydel Atwater, 20 of Rome, was arrested this week after police found him in possession of THC gummies during the execution of a search warrant at 16 Worsham Street.

Atwater is charged with possession of a schedule I controlled substance.
