Devon Makai Young, 20 of Rome, was arrested this week after the execution of a search warrant resulted in the Metro Drug Task Force finding a stolen Glock 27 caliber .40 handgun.
The gun was located in a room inside a home on Gordon Street with his clothing and shoes.
Young is charged with theft by receiving stolen property.
