Joseph Avery Holliday, 40 of Rome, was booked into the Floyd County Jail this week after he allegedly arranged a drug deal and then proceeded to sell methamphetamine to a police informant on numerous occasions back in September 2017.

Police said that Holliday used a cell phone to arrange the drug deal, which took place at 2000 North Broad Street.

Holiday has been incarcerated at Johnson State Prison, thus why the delay in his arrest.

Holliday is charged with two counts  possession of meth, two counts possession of meth with intent to distribute, two counts sale of amphetamine, and two counts use of a communication device involving a felony.
