Jared Roy Buffington, 39 of Aragon, was arrested in Rome after a traffic stop on the 200 block of Lovell Road led police to find a large quantity of methamphetamine.
Reports said that Buffington was stopped for not wearing a seat belt. After being pulled over officers determined that he was driving on a suspended license. A search of the vehicle then resulted in police stating they found over 29 grams of methamphetamine and a glass smoking device.
Buffington is charged with possession of meth, trafficking meth, possession of drug related objects, a seat belt violation, driving on a suspended license, and parole violation.
