Tyrane Roshaun Hudson, 39 of Cartersville, was jailed in Rome this week after he was allegedly stopped for a window tint violation and was then found to be in possession of a gun and methamphetamine.
Reports stated that after officers pulled Hudson over at the intersection of Martha Berry Blvd and Iron Street they detected a marijuana odor coming from the vehicle.
A search then led officers to locate a 9mm handgun, methamphetamine and a digital scale.
Hudson is charged with possession of meth, possession of a firearm by convicted felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of drug related objects and a window tint violation.
