Matthew Walter Fortune, 33 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he stole $5,100 in lottery tickets from the Calhoun Food Mart.
Reports stated that the thefts occurred between July 7 and July 18 of this year.
Fortune is charged with felony theft by taking.
