Amilcar Perez-Valasquez, 36 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he broke a glass bottle over the face of a 38 year-old woman.
Reports stated that he then proceeded to threaten to kill her and everyone else in the family.
A child witnessed the altercation, which occurred at their home on Conn Street.
Perez-Valasquez is charged with aggravated battery, cruelty to children and terroristic threats and acts.
