A homeless man, Stephen Heath Massengale, 48 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he was found with methamphetamine while being stopped for riding his bike with no headlight.
Reports said that Massengale was stopped on Shorter Avenue near Iron Street around 9 pm Monday.
A search of Massengale led police to find two smoking devices containing meth residue and drugs that were not in its original container.
Massengale is charged with possession of meth, drugs not in original container and equipment requirement for a bike.
