Juan Christopher Rocha, 26 of Cedartown, was arrested in Rome this week after reports said he committed a run and run and then attempted to flee from officers.
Reports stated that Rocha struck a guard rail at GA 1 and Old Cedartown Road, causing damage, and then left the scene without calling police.
Officers stated that after finding Rocha he ran from officers on foot after giving them a false information.
Rocha is charged with hit and run and obstruction.
