Christopher Michael Hatcher, 34 of Douglasville, was arrested in Rome this week when he was allegedly found with a large amount of drugs after police spotted him driving without a car tag.
Reports said that when officers initiated the stop he failed to pull over and a chase ensued. After eventually being stopped police said that they found him in possession of a handgun, marijuana, scale and numerous plastic baggies.
Hatcher is charged with possession of marijuana, sale or distribution of marijuana, possession of a firearm by convicted felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, attempting to elude police and operation of an unregistered vehicle.
