Tony James Locklear Jr, 33 of Rome, was jailed this week after a traffic stop on a motorcycle led police to find a large quantity of methamphetamine.
Reports said that officers found Locklear in possession of 48 grams of meth, digital scale, a glass smoking device, and multiple baggies.
The drugs were found after it was discovered that he had been driving the motorcycle without a motorcycle license and without having proof of insurance. Locklear is charged with possession of meth, possession of meth with intent to distribute, trafficking meth, possession of drug related objects, driving in violation of license class, no insurance and operation of an unregistered vehicle
