Charles Lewis Autry, 57 of Kingston, was booked into the Floyd County Jail this week after reports said he fled from officers after being spotted shooting a deer from his car near Wayside Road.
Reports stated that Autry proceeded to flee from officers once the initiated lights and sirens.
Authorities went on to say that Autry drove in a reckless manner and even nearly striking a patrol car.
The incident occurred back on November 25, 2018.
Autry is charged with eluding a police officer, stop sign violation, speeding, failure to maintain lane, too fast for conditions, improper lane change, reckless driving, aggressive driving, headlight requirement and a seat belt violation.
