Christina Angelic Henderson, 43 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports stated officers found four children living in deplorable condition during an investigation in which began after a small child was locate wandering in the street unsupervised.
Reports said that after pulling up to the house the front door to the home was open. Upon entry officers stated that there was food, trash, and clothing covering the floor. Officers added that the home in also infested with roaches and other insects.
The officer went on to state that two prescription pills was located and were not in their original container.
DFCS was called to take custody of the children.
Henderson is charged with four counts cruelty to children, maintain a disorderly house and drugs not in original container.
