Belinda Fay Pilcher, 49 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she stole a ring valued at close to $1,800 from a man and then sold it to Cash American Pawn on Shorter Avenue for $150.
Reports said that the incident occurred back on March 19 of this year.
Pilcher is charged with felony theft by deception and theft by receiving stolen property.
