Maurice Eugene Stocks, 40 of Rome, and Haley Davenport Ferrell, 24, of Rome were arrested this week after reports said they were found with a gun and numerous drugs during a traffic stop on Dodd Blvd.
Reports said officers located suspected ecstasy, marijuana and a fire arm.
Police added that Ferrell also tried to claim all of the items inside the vehicle was hers after ecstasy was found in her underwear.
She then proceeded to fight with officers when being placed in handcuffs.
Stocks is charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a schedule I controlled substance.
Ferrell is charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of marijuana, possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession of a schedule I controlled substance with intent to distribute and felony obstruction.
