Two Lindale residents, Dustin Grant Strickland, 33, and Amber Nicole Snipes, 26, were arrested this week following a traffic Stop on Dean Avenue.
Reports said that Snipes was stopped after officers discovered that the tag on the vehicle belonged to another. Once stopped, Snipes allegedly gave officers a fake and date of birth to hide the fact that she was driving on a suspended license.
A search then led police to find methamphetamine and a glass pipe on Strickland. He then proceeded to resist arrest and attempted to swallow evidence.
Snipes is charged with obstruction, driving on a suspended license, driving with no insurance, driving a vehicle on a suspended registration, concealing the identity of a vehicle and probation violation.
Strickland is charged with possession of meth, possession of drug related objects, obstruction and tampering with evidence.
