Rashad Charles Batts, 32 of Atlanta, was arrested this week after reports said he forged a check from North Georgia Equipment and then proceeded attempt to cash counterfeiter checks at numerous banks around Rome.
Reports added that The counterfeit checks were made out from an account belonging to Premier Yarn Dyers in Adairsville.
Batts is charged with forgery and two counts deposit account fraud.
