Nahunta Sharon Finley, 41 of Rome, was arrested this week after an incident last August in which he allegedly held a woman against her will in a vehicle and then grabbed her by the throat and punched her in the face when she asked for her car keys back.
This week he was spotted on East 16th Street and proceeded not to stop when officers ignited their blue lights. After finally coming to a stop he attempted to flee on foot. He was captured after a short chase.
Finley is charged with false imprisonment, four counts of contempt of superior court, obstruction of law enforcement, stop sign violation, operation of vehicles on approach of emergency vehicles, driving on a suspended license.
