Steven Ejsimekwu, 30 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he forcibly kicked open a door to a home on Avenue C in Lindale and attempted to throw a 19 year-old man down stairs.
Reports added that Ejsimekwu caused damage to the door handle, frame and lock of two different bedrooms.
Ejsimekwu is charged with simple assault and criminal trespass.
