Authorities have confirmed that 61-year-old Ron Rohler was killed in a one vehicle accident Friday.
A second person in the vehicle, John Lively, was taken to Floyd Medical Center with serious injury.
The crash is still under investigation by the Georgia State Patrol.
Floyd County police said that one man was killed and another seriously injured in a wreck on Wildlife Trail near Fouche Gap Road.
Sgt. Chris Fincher said that the men were in a rock crawler (Jeep with offroading tires) when they got close to an embankment and rolled off.
Fincher added that the wreck occurred just after 6 pm Friday.
One person was taken to Floyd Medical Center for treatment. The victim who was pronounced dead on the scene has not been odentified.
