Dorsey Arsenio Wyatt, 27 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he slapped the face of a woman in front of their 7 year-old child.
Reports stated that the incident occurred at a home on Reece Street.
Wyatt is charged with battery and cruelty to children.
