Davis Jelon McConnell, 19 of Rockmart, was arrested this week after he allegedly shot another person at a location on Maple Avenue in Rome.
Reports said that the shooting occurred back on June 11 of 2019.
He was captured in Gordon County and since has been extradited back to Rome.
McConnell is charged with aggravated assault.
