Kenneth Anthony Davenport, 42 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he hit another person in the face during an altercation at the Citgo on Park Avenue in Lindale.
Reports said that while being taken into custody he was found with a syringe that contained suspected methamphetamine.
Davenport is charged with battery, possession of meth, possession of drug related objects and parole violation.
