Former Polk Educator Charged with numerous theft felonies

A former educator for the Polk School District, Whitney Darby, 28 of Cedartown, has been jailed on felony theft charges.

Darby allegedly stole over $500 while working for the school system.

Darby is charged with felony theft by taking, felony theft by deception and felony theft by conversion.
