Laturria Pressley, 43 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she hit a 25 year-old woman in the chest, neck and head with her hand during an altercation.
The victim suffered injuries in the attack.
Pressley was taken into custody at her home on Deer Run Trail.
She is charged with battery.
