Desiree Danielle Evans, 34 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she pulled a 12 year-old child out of bed and proceeded to drag her by the arm and hair.
The child suffered visible injury including red marks where her hair was pulled out.
Evans is charged with battery, simple battery and cruelty to children.
