Michael Phyfe, 46 of Rome, was jailed this week after reports said he shoved a woman to the ground, grabbed her by the hair and proceeded to slam her head into the floor.
Reports went on to state that the victim suffered an injury to her eye.
The attack occurred at a location on Horseleg Creek Road
Phyfe is charged with battery.
