Charles Jason Ford, 37 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he attempted to pawn rented merchandise.
Reports said that Ford took the items to numerous pawn shops around Rome. The total amount of items was valued at $1,958.99.
The theft occurred back in September of this year.
Ford is charged with felony theft by conversion and two counts theft by deception.
