Rodney Jermaine Sullivan, 42 of Monroe, was jailed this week after reports said he hit a 42 year-old Rome woman in the eye and then kept her from leaving the scene.
Reports said that Sullivan grabbed the woman and refused to allow her to leave a home on Elliot Drive.
Sullivan is charged with battery and false imprisonment.
