Truitt Clifford Alford IV, 24 of Rome, was arrested at Advanced Steel after reports said he was found to be in possession of marijuana and a gun with an altered serial number.
Reports said that the items were found during a consensual encounter.
Alford is charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a weapon during the commission of a felony and criminal use of an article with an altered ID mark.
