Travis Hoyt Hunter, 51 of Silver Creek, was arrested this week after police said he assaulted his 80 year-old mother at her home on Donahoo Road.
Reports added that when police arrived Hunter refused to follow officer’s commands.
Hunter is charged with simple assault and obstruction.
