Joshua Daniel-Joseph Piercy, 23 of Cave Spring, was arrested this week after he allegedly made physical contact with his mother at a home on Old Cedartown Street.
Reports added that when officers arrived things got worse when Piercy allegedly pushed and shoved arresting officers in an effort to avoid arrest.
Piercy is charged with felony obstruction and simple battery.
