Joshua Piercy, 22 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he assaulted a woman at a home on Cedartown Street in Cave Spring.
Reports said that Piercy threatened to do harm to the woman before throwing a bottle at her vehicle.
The victim told police that she “has great fear of the suspect due to earlier incidents”.
Piercy is charged with simple assault.
