Daniel Jacory Williams, 27 of Rome, was arrested this week after Floyd County Sheriff Deputies found him to illegally be in possession of a gun while doing gang intel research.
Report said that deputies found Williams in possession of a 9mm handgun.
The invesitgation was conducted on Crane Street at East 13th Street.
Williams is charged with possession of a firearm and possession and carrying a concealed weapon without a license.
