Tasha LaFraye Shockley, 39 of Adairsville, was arrested at the Royal Inn on Martha Berry Blvd after she was found allegedly harboring a child from DFACS.
Reports said that Shockley told officers a different name for the child in an attempt to avoid arrest.
Shockley is charged with false statements and writings and interstate interference with custody.
