Timothy Lamar Waits, 42 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he sliced the throat of a 59 year-old man.
Reports said that he then told the man that “he was going to die”.
The incident occurred at a home on Rebecca Street.
Waits is charged with aggravated battery, aggravated battery and terroristic threats and acts.
