Joseph Shane Langston, 39 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he attempted to flee from them in foot following a traffic stop on Brookwood Avenue.
Reports said that Langston was pulled over for driving on an expired registration when police said he refused to stop and began to run away on foot.
Langston is charged with driving on an expired tag, operation of vehicle on approach of emergency vehicle, obstruction and driving on a suspended license.
