A Rome man, identified as 43 year-old Nathan Holt, was killed after crashing his motorcycle on Pocket Road Wednesday.
Reports said that Holt was navigating a curve when he hit a tree, which prevented him from going off a large embankment.
Reports said that Holt was traveling too fast for the curve.
Life flight was called but was tuned around after being notified that he had passed away.
The GSP is still investigating the accident.
