A 31 year-old woman who died in a single vehicle accident Tuesday has been identified as Cami Sheree Depaz of Rome.
Reports said that Depaz’s Toyota 4-Runner hit an icy patch on Mathis Road and lost control of her SUV before colliding with a utility pole.
Depaz taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead as the result of blunt force trauma to the upper body.
A passenger in the SUV, Ben Hash, was treated at Floyd for nonlife-threatening injuries.
Police said that the wreck was the result of subfreezing temperatures and rain.
