Joshua Keith Williams, 33 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he threatened the life of a police officer, as well as their family.
Officers stated that Williams was pulled over on a routine traffic stop at the intersection of Martha Berry Highway and Veterans Memorial when they discovered an open bottle of liquor and the suspect highly intoxicated.
Reports went on to state that the threats were recorded on the officer’s dashcam.
Williams is charged with terroristic threats and acts, DUI, driving on a suspended license and open container.
