Alvin Demarcus Anthony, 28 of Rome, was arrested at the Pine Crest Motel on Martha Berry Blvd after reports said he crashed into a building and then proceeded to leave the scene of the accident.
Reports said that Anthony proceeded to resist officers while they attempted to place him under arrest.
Anthony is charged with felony obstruction, duty upon striking fixture and probation violation.
