Bradley Carl Hale, 34 of Cedartown, was booked into the Floyd County Jail this week after reports said he stole a 2013 Kia Soul from a home on Hine Road back on September 7 2016.
Reports added that Hale then sold the vehicle to Newell Recycling for $2500.
Hale was arrested in Terrell County before being shipped back to Rome to face the charges this week.
Hale is charged with theft by taking a motor vehicle and theft by receiving stolen property.
