Shorter University head women’s basketball coach James Tyler Roden was booked into the Floyd County Jail this week after he allegedly caused a huge disruption at a local basketball game.

Reports said that after being ejected from a game on January 4th, he stated in a boisterous way, that he wanted to assault the officials overseeing the game.

Reports added that Roden also uttered obscenities while being physically removed from the gym.

The game was against Delta State, in which Roden’s father was the head coach.

Roden has not coached a game since the incident.

Roden is charged with disorderly conduct.
