Berry Shontray Cochran, 40 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he stole items from a home on Coral Avenue and then proceeded to sell the items to Anniston Metals to be scrapped.
Reports added that the items included an antique furnace.
Police said that Cochran received $26.63 for the items.
Cochran is charged theft by receiving stolen property, theft by deception, prohibited stopping, driving on a suspended license and probation violation
