Courtney Dewayne Finley, 38 of Rome, was jailed this week after police said he was in possession of a pound of synthetic marijuana, two grams of crack cocaine, 2 ounces of marijuana, $896 in cash, a digital scale, plastic baggies and two stolen guns.

Reports said that one of the guns was stolen in Rome, while the other was in  Fort Payne, Alabama.

Police added that the incident occurred at the new Dollar General store on North Broad Street.

Finley is charged with theft by receiving stolen property in another state, theft by receiving stolen property, two counts possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of drug related objects, two counts possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, with two counts purchase, possession, manufacture, distribution or sale of marijuana, possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, and three counts possession of synthetic marijuana.
