Jordy Lamar Roberson, 33 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he used a brick to break open the front door of a home in order to burglarize it.
Reports added that when officers arrived at the location on South Mclin Street he proceeded to kick them when they attempted to take him into custody.
Roberson is charged with burglary, criminal damage to property and obstruction.
