Margaret Baldwin, 30, of Rome was arrested this week for failing to appear in court and being in possession of drugs.

According to police, Baldwin was in contempt of court for failing to appear for the crimes of driving on a suspended license, failing to meet insurance requirements, removing license plate in an attempt to conceal the identity of the vehicle, and driving without a tag.

When arrested, she was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and needles used to inject drugs.

Baldwin is charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug-related objects, and four counts of failure to appear.
