Jeremy Johnston, 38, of Rome was arrested this week for breaking into a Blood Assurance bus.
According to police, on November 4, 2018, Johnston entered a Blood Assurance bus with the intent to commit theft. After entering the bus Johnston took one Dell Latitude laptop valued at $1000, one Bose Bluetooth speaker valued at $130, one Garmin GPS valued at $150, one Kyocera Dura XV LTE cell phone valued at $100, one clear plastic tote valued at $10 along with various snacks. The total value for the items taken was $1,410.
Johnston later pawned the Bose Bluetooth speaker for $20.
Johnston is charged with felony entering a vehicle with the intent to commit theft and theft by taking.
