Demarco Antonio Tair, 35 of Rome, was jailed this week after he allegedly punched a woman in the face and then steal her vehicle.
Reports said that Tair was later seen driving at over 110 mph on GA 20 near Chulio Road. It was there Tair struck another car while making an improper lane change.
He was later captured at his home on Orlstes Drive.
Tair is charged with theft by taking, simple assault, DUI, fleeing, improper lane change, failure to maintain lane, driving on a suspended license, reckless driving, speeding, improper lane change, hit and run and aggressive driving.
