Archie Born, 46, of Rome was arrested this week after being found in possession of a firearm.
According to police, during a routine search by a state probation officer, a pump shotgun was found in Born’s bedroom closet. Born is a convicted felon.
Born is charged with felony possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and probation violation.
